Product development is at the heart of GAB's Modeling/Prototyping, where designers and skilled technicians collaborate to transform innovative ideas into high-quality products. Every step of the process is taken care of with the utmost attention to detail by our teams, who work together with dedication and precision. We use state-of-the-art technology and traditional craftsmanship techniques to ensure that each product meets customers' standards.

At the heart of our leather goods department, the modeling department is the hub of creativity and innovation. Here, a close-knit group of model makers, both young and experienced, take drawings from the style department and carefully rework them into 2D models. Each project begins with detailed technical drawings, which are then developed into three-dimensional models, combining state-of-the-art technology and traditional craft techniques to ensure excellence and precision.

Initial prototypes go through several rounds of review and improvement before being selected for the sampling stage. During the modeling process, every detail is carefully examined and refined. After the CAD model is created, the GAB team makes a maquette to identify and resolve any critical issues with the object. Only then, is the production of the final part carried out.

This is the stage when the collection is presented to the customer, followed by sales and then production. The choice of materials is crucial and is done with the utmost care, selecting only the best to ensure durability and functionality. At this stage, the model is rechecked and, if requested by the customer, further refined.

GAB realizes the production master for its customers through a trusted network of external laboratories. During the industrialization process, GAB offers clients the “Engineering” service, which consists of the digitalization of the entire production process, from leather processing to the assembly of the final product. A qualified team of model makers and inspectors ensures that each model is perfect before going into production.
